Hello, fellow soul. I’m glad to meet you here, and I look forward to getting to know you.

I’m a professional writer, editor, and story analyst. I hold a B.A. in English from Columbia University, where I graduated magna cum laude. I also have a partial degree in English from the University of Cambridge. More recently, I earned an M.F.A. in Fiction from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop. (No, what people say about the Workshop isn’t true. Except for everything that is.)

Professionally, I’ve worked in the film industry, ed tech, and the world of freelance copywriting. In entertainment, I was an assistant to an executive producer of film and television. I also have a long history as a story analyst and a freelance creative consultant. I’ve been involved with companies such as Paramount, the De Laurentiis Company, and Dreamworks.

In ed tech, I’ve worked with major test and tutoring companies in addition to universities such as Vanderbilt, Johns Hopkins, and UCLA.

I live in Los Angeles, which is where I was born and raised. I currently serve as a member of my neighborhood council.
